Ok here is my question. I work as a car salesman, I don't like to spend money on too many things that I dont need. However I need a pair of sunglasses if I am going to be outside waiting on customers in Georgia! I have been looking at shades, i went to the discount stores TJ Max, Ross, Marshalls, Burlington Coat Factory, ect.! They have decent shades for $30-$50. But none that I really like. I found a pair of Oakley Industrial M-Frame Black/Grey on Craigslist in my city for $125, i called him and he said he would take $75 for them. Mind you, I have always liked Oakley and Costa Del Mar, I just didn't wamt to spend 125+ on them. Would this be a good deal? Are they good sunglasses? They are industrial (they are safety glasses as well).... I just want to make sure they arn't only good for protection.

My uncle got me a pair of REAL Oakley sunglasses. He is in the marines and got them for a big discount. Bought a pair of Chanel sunglasses online for a discounted price, due to damage to the Chanel box. Sellers feedback states that the sunglasses are completely legit, without any complaints. However, in the picture of the actual glasses they sent me, the Chanel made in italy inscription was towards the end of the arm instead of centered in the middle of the arms. Everything else checks out, just unsure of that.

I just got a new pair of regular glasses (no Transitions lenses or anything--too pricey) but I would love to get new sunglasses too. I will prob. buy online at a discount. I have a job offer from MGM Mirage to work in a show in Las Vegas, and I would be able to get a large suite with a full kitchen (basically like a really nice condo with optional maid service) for about $40 a Night at any MGM hotel on the strip If I decide I want to live there. I would still own my car so I could leave whenever i want, and I would get a 50 percent discount for anything at the hotels, PLUS free health club access. If I decide to, I'm not going to go to the clubs or bars, I'll try to not drink to much hard liquor, I'll wear sunglasses to stop the lights from annoying me and i would try to go to the spa and listen to classical music a lot to stop myself from going insane. If you were in my situation, and were working or rehearsing for most of the day, would you live on the strip? Obviously this is a big decision which I will make on my own, but i want to see what people on the internet think. Thankyou for the answers!

This is My story: AMERICAN RACKET This is a real story and it has happened with me personally here in United States of America. I had a small retail business of sunglasses in Monroeville Mall, Monroeville, Pennsylvania. One day the Mall Manager approached me and told that I had to share my business with the company he would introduce me to. I told him that it is considered a racket and expressed my disagreement. He answered that in case I do not agree; there would be opened similar business next to my cart, which would make my business go bankrupt. I argued that I had a license and no one else in the same Mall had rights to have a similar business and if I witnessed my monopoly rights being infringed I would sue the Mall Management. The manager answered this would mean him shutting down my business. Two days later I received the letter from the Manager, which asked me to get out of the Mall in two days. I sent the fax to the Manager telling them that it is physically impossible for me to do this in two days and that I have made important business arrangements. The third day I came to the Mall to see that my business was gone. All the neighboring retail businesses are indignant with this impudent racket. However they all are silent since they may be treated the same way any time and according to the agreement between the Mall and the retail businesses no one may fight for his/her right in court. But it is the Manager has made the step for to deceive and next day this business has opened other owner instead of I. It is means the Manager has not closed the business but only has replaced owners. One of my neighbors of Mall asked the Manager the reason for my business closure. And he directly declared that it was due to my reluctance of sharing my business with some company and that it was not his personal, but a decision on a corporate level. I have addressed to the municipal lawyer and it has told to me the manager is not right and the lawyer has written the letter to the Manager but more nothing could help me. I understand it is racket and I understand the Manager impudently lie in the letter about closing the business and it is easy for checking up enough to arrive on a place where that was my business and you will see that business is not closed and works and only the owners other .I went to the USA as in the democratic country and now I see discrimination and infringement of my the rights. At almost 25, my mother is driving me crazy. I moved back home after a few years abroad . She's always been disapproving of anything I did. She's always been a bully to me (especially since I'm the oldest, and slightly overweight). I'm nice by nature, but always stood up for myself, but with her, it's always been a struggle. She would get upset because I bought designer sunglasses without taking her advice, because I bought a jacket at a store without telling her, the store belonging to her friend who could have given me a discount (the jacket was 60 bucks or so). Heck, she once even got pissed because I went and got my eyebrows shaped at a salon other than the one she goes to. For all of this, I remained calm and told her that's no big deal. Lately she's been on almost non-speaking terms with me, because I refused to go on a second date with her best friends' son. This morning I told her that I found a new appartement where I would move in with a co-worker of mine, and she did her reverse psychology on me:" the appartment is very expensive (eventhough what I would pay is cheaper than my current rent), but you know I'm not involved in your decisions anymore, so you do what you want" and she hung up on me. I know this is all manipulation, but I can't help but being angry for her childish behavior. And I don't even want to talk to her about it, because I know she'll play the depressed, unfortunate mother whose daughter is a failure (which I'm not, since I have a decent job, balanced friends, and can support myself) I've never regretted a decision in my life more than that of coming back home. What should I do? lately I realized that with my personality and abilities, I could have been SO much more in life. But the low self-esteem that resulted from so many years of this has prevented me from rising up and following my dreams. @ Kristen: that's not the issue. So i have a pretty strict dress code. We just got it this year and i'm devastated cuz its just sooo ugly and i cant find any good ways to make it POP. I've always been a girl of style and the uniform took that away. Do u have aby ideas on how to make it better? I go to public school so its not like a cute private school uniform. I'm looking at adding another pair of sunglasses to my collection...my problem is I can't make up my mind. I have a chance to buy some Oakley polarized fishing-specific "shallow blue" sunglasses for a reasonable discount, but I don't plan to ever use them for fishing. Is there anything about this tint that would be annoying, uncomfortable, or just make things look strange? Or is it still a good tint for ordinary use? I will mainly use them for driving and for golfing. Clarification: I know polarized glasses in general are great. I'm specifically asking about the Oakley "fishing-specific" polarized, compared to Oakley's other polarized tints (non-fishing-specific). Are the fishing-specific glasses still a good thing to use for non-fishing activities? Please don't respond unless you have direct experience with the Oakley fishing-specific polarized sunglasses.

I bought a pair of DG sunglasses at an airport. The pair was one of numerous pair that had been sitting in the perfume counter's display for almost a year that I know of and have recently gone on sale. I ended up paying about 8 something for them with a discount I get. I don't really care if they are real but was just wondering if a perfume counter (duty free shop) would be allowed to sell fakes. They look good except for the fact that there is a little tiny scratch on the bridge of the glasses. Nothing major. They have several brands on sale for 10 to 14. I have noticed that the glasses that are not on sale sell for as low as 35 dollars to the usual 100+. What do you think? (It didn't come with a case or a certificate but I know these are on the low end of DG, those made in China). I don't care about the brand but ;) was thinking about selling them on ebay. Just to add perspective, the same shop is selling 300 dollar crystal for 50 or less. They're having a big sale of 80% off on most of their items. This airport has crappy business, it is a very small one in Reno so they have to sell everything even if it means that they end up at a loss. I work here so I guess I should just ask the person who sells the glasses. I know a couple of the girls who work there, they should be able to tell me. Do you really think they would be selling fakes? For anyone interested, they're at the perfume counter. Check them out and get back to me. :) I didn't get ripped off. I paid 8 dollars. I would never pay good money for a name brand. The only name brand item I have is my seeing eye glasses and that is because the frames were the only nice ones. So to re-cap... I bought them at an American airport. I got an employee discount of 20% and the glasses were marked down to 10 dollars. They have several DG styles on display as well as some not marked down being sold for 30-100+. And before you write a three word answer could you please think about a good explanation? Thanks.

www.revo.com It's not working, and all their glasses are on major discount. I just bought a pair and they broke immediately. I went to Luxottica (the parent company for Revo, RayBan, Oakley, and many other sunglass brands) and I'm getting no luck. I bought a discounted pair of Marc Jacobs sunglasses that I am in love with, and within the first 2 months of having them...the side part broke off. I do not have the receipt from the store that I bought the sunglasses at, but I was wondering if there was anyway that I could contact the Marc Jacobs company and possibly get them fixed??? I tried the website but I couldn't find any contact or repair info
